Malia and Sasha Obama Gave Their First Public Interview in Michelle Obama’s Becoming Docum

Sasha Obama began trending on Twitter Tuesday morning, but before you subject yourself to a panicked scroll, let me clear something up: she’s OK, there’s no scandal, the 19-year-old is simply being a cool teen and doing that thing cool teens do … TikTok dances.
The college sophomore and five friends appeared in a choreographed video on the Gen Z-beloved platform, dancing to Pop Hunna’s “Adderall (Corvette Corvette).”
The former first daughter, wearing a sheer black blouse and several layered necklaces, smiles at the forefront of the 15-second video.
Twitter rejoiced in the return of former President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama’s youngest.

Both Sasha and her sister Malia, 22, have largely avoided the spotlight since their family left the White House in 2017. Barack recently shared that both of his daughters have been living with him and Michelle since the pandemic began in March.

“Malia and Sasha have been with us almost continuously since March, with just a few breaks,” he told People. “Like a lot of families who are lucky enough not to have to worry about losing a job, or a family member getting sick, there are times where it’s felt claustrophobic, I’m sure, for them. But for Michelle and me as parents, to have this bonus time where your kids are having dinner with you every night and we’re playing games and watching movies together — there’s been a lot of joy to that.”
